Custom business software

Software shaped around how your business already works.

Small, focused tools that replace the spreadsheet, the inbox chase and the copy-paste between systems. Built to your workflow, handed over with the source code, and yours to keep operating.

Where it helps

Four places custom tools tend to earn their keep.

Estimates and follow-up

Turn a spreadsheet of quotes into a simple tracker with status, next step and a reminder of who is waiting on what.

Customer portals

A private place where customers can see project status, upload documents or review an approved estimate.

Intake and handoffs

Structured request forms that route the right details to the right person, instead of forwarded emails and sticky notes.

A focused internal CRM

Contacts, jobs and notes shaped around how your team actually works, without paying for features nobody opens.

How a project runs

Assessment first. Code second.

Sized for focused small-business scope. Complex, regulated or mission-critical systems start with a separate feasibility review.

  1. 01

    Fit assessment

We first check whether existing software or a light automation already solves the problem. If it does, that is the recommendation.

  2. 02

    Scope in writing

Screens, data, users and exclusions are agreed in a written scope with a final quote, after discovery.

  3. 03

    Build and test with you

Working versions are shared for your input. You test with real-world scenarios before handoff.

  4. 04

    Training and handoff

Your team is walked through daily use, with handoff documentation for whoever operates it next.

  5. 05

    Optional care

Ongoing application maintenance is available separately, under its own written terms.

Pricing and ownership

Clear numbers, clear rights.

Focused project

from $3,500

Final quote confirmed in writing after discovery. Hosting and third-party services are ongoing costs, paid separately.

After final payment you receive

  • Project-specific source code
  • An export of your data
  • Handoff documentation

Reusable components and dependencies keep their own licences, with continuing rights to operate the delivered software subject to the agreement.

Optional maintenance

from $249/month

Separate written agreement covering scope, support limits, response hours and third-party costs.

Cancelling does not revoke rights to delivered software. You then arrange infrastructure and operation yourself or with another provider.

No guaranteed outcomes, unlimited support or round-the-clock response. Website plans are separate and unchanged.

Questions

Before you get in touch.

What does a focused project cost?

Focused projects start from $3,500. The final quote is confirmed in writing after discovery, once scope, users and data are understood. Hosting and third-party services are ongoing costs paid separately.

Do I own the software?

After final payment you receive the project-specific source code, a data export and handoff documentation. Reusable components and third-party dependencies stay under their own licences, with continuing rights to operate the delivered software as set out in the agreement.

What if I cancel optional maintenance?

Cancelling maintenance does not revoke rights to software already delivered. You then arrange your own hosting, infrastructure and operation, or another provider to support it.

What does optional maintenance include?

Application maintenance starts from $249/month. Coverage, support limits, response hours and any third-party costs are defined in a separate written agreement. It is not unlimited and not a 24-hour service.

Can you build something complex or regulated?

This service is sized for focused small-business tools. Complex, regulated or mission-critical systems need a feasibility review first, and may be better served by a specialist or an established platform.

Should I start with workflow consulting or AI automation instead?

Sometimes. If the process itself is unclear, Business & Workflow Consulting maps it first. If an existing product with a simple form, CRM or email handoff would do the job, AI Tools & Automation is the lighter route. The fit assessment covers this.

Is this connected to the website plans?

No. Custom software is quoted separately. The Business Website Rebuild from $4,250 and the $149 and $499 monthly upkeep plans are unchanged.

Describe the workflow that slows you down.

Robert will check fit first, including whether existing software would do the job, before any quote.
