Before you rely on it

  • Tags only show up if your site runs an analytics tool that reads them. This tool installs nothing and cannot confirm attribution.
  • Some apps, browsers and privacy tools strip tags, so counts are never complete.
  • Use tagged links only on outside channels, not for links between your own pages.
