A practical content checklist for a service-business website

· 4 min read

A well-prepared brochure website starts with useful business information, not elaborate features. Before a small service-company rebuild, gather the facts and photos you would want a new customer to see when deciding whether to call.

Write the services you actually provide

Use plain names and a short explanation of each service. A cleaner can distinguish regular cleaning from a one-time deep clean. A landscaper can explain the supplied work they actually undertake. A handyman can list suitable small repairs and the limits of the work. A detailer or salon can describe services without creating a payment or reservation system. Avoid promises you cannot support.

Be specific about areas, hours and directions

Supply genuine service areas, business hours and any customer-facing address you want shown. Do not invent a street address or populate hundreds of city pages. If you serve customers at their properties, say that instead of offering directions to a private address. Confirm that phone and email destinations are correct before launch.

Choose authentic supplied gallery photos

Use images you own or have permission to publish. Choose clear, relevant photos that show actual services, spaces or work. Label an illustrative image honestly rather than presenting it as a completed customer job. A compact gallery is easier to browse on a phone than oversized decorative art. Images should support the information, not replace readable service descriptions.

Give visitors an easy inquiry path

A visible phone link, public email and short basic inquiry form can be enough. Form availability depends on the agreed hosting and delivery method. A stored form request is not proof of email inbox delivery; ask how your own project will handle and test it. Do not collect sensitive customer details the business does not need.

Agree pages before adding more

A small three-page brochure can combine home, services and contact. A five-page site can separate about, gallery or another service description. Hyper Solutions offers $499 for up to three simple pages with one consolidated revision, or $899 for up to five with two. Larger informational sites or future text/photo edits are separately quoted or covered by an optional monthly plan; none is required.

Own the domain and suitable hosting

Pay the domain and compatible hosting provider directly in your own accounts. We check access and hosting compatibility before the launch commitment, preserve existing business email and working service links, obtain approval before switching the domain and agree a fallback. DNS changes can be delayed or interrupted, so zero downtime is not guaranteed.

Know what is deliberately not included

This is an informational website offer, not an online store or software system. Hyper Solutions does not configure payments, custom ordering, reservations, portals, CRM or automation. An ordinary agreed link to your existing third-party booking platform may be retained without us managing transactions. An automatic CMS is not promised. After full payment you own the files; future edits are separately quoted or covered by an optional bounded monthly content plan if you choose one, and defects in delivered work have 30-day correction support.

Have your content ready before the 50% deposit and written scope approval. Three-day production is a target only after complete approved content, deposit, access and compatible hosting are ready; DNS, owner approvals and exceptions can delay live launch. A qualified homepage concept is subject to availability. See service-company demos or tell Robert about your informational site.
